Friday 1st - Monday 4th November 2013
We spent our Cup Weekend travelling to Warrnambool with a smaller group of 6 families. Some of us explored
Hopkins Falls, the maze and flying foxes at Lake Pertobe, the delicious tastings and awesome milk shakes at the Cheese Factory and of course a day trip to the Twelve Apostles and Port Campbell. Being a smaller group, we abandoned our traditional "scheduled" activities and basically just decided where and what we wanted to do, and found this was a good approach depending on how active or tired the children were. Our Saturday was spent "supervising" children in the pool where the most effort for the day was drinking tea, cooking and eating our dinner. Afterwards the children watched Despicable Me 2 and the adults yakked for hours!
